The video is shared with a text: लखीमपुर खीरी उत्तर प्रदेश में किसानो ने बीजेपी नेता को पीटा । (English translation: Farmers beat BJP leader in Lakhimpur Khiri, Uttar Pradesh.)

Running a Reverse Image Search, we found a screengrab of the video carrying a report by ANI, dated July 11, 2021, with a title: “BJP leader, workers ‘attacked’ by farmers in Punjab, allege police involvement; DSP refutes claims.”
As per the report, Punjab BJP leader Bhupesh Aggarwal and other local leaders were allegedly attacked by farmers in Patiala, in July 2021, during the farmers’ protest.
ANI also shared visuals from the same incident on Twitter.
Zee Punjab Haryana Himachal also shared a video report carrying the viral video of the incident on July 11, 2021.
NewsMobile debunked the same video in January 2021 when it was shared in the backdrop of the Punjab Assembly elections.
