A claim has surfaced on social media, according to which missing JNU student, Najeeb Ahmed, was tracked down in an ISIS camp in Syria and there is a picture attached to support the claim.

15 अक्टूबर 2016 को JNU से लापता नजीब अहमद किसे याद नही। उसकी माँ ने कितना हंगामा किया था।गुमशुदगी के लिए ABVP ,भारत सरकार,दिल्ली पुलिस और सीधे प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को जिम्मेदार ठहराया गया।केजरीवाल ने नजीब के समर्थन में धरना दिया।कैंडल मार्च निकाला जिसमे राहुल गांधी शामिल हुए।पूरा JNU ओर वामपंथी संगठन सड़कों पर उतर आए थे।और मामला CBI को सौंपना पड़ा।
लेकिन अब चोंकाने वाली तस्वीर आयी है।वही नजीब अहमद अब ISIS का आंतकवादी बन चुका है।निश्चय ही मोदी और भारत सरकार ने भेजा होगा उसे??
डूब मरो हरामजादो। अब जरूरी है नजीब की माँ,केजरीवाल,राहुल गांधी और कन्हैया कुमार को गिरफ्तार करके उन पर देश के संसाधनों के दुरुपयोग,अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर देश की बदनामी करने का केस चलाया जाए।
विशेष नोट-: अगर शांतिप्रिय समुदाय का कोई भी व्यक्ति अचानक गुमशुदा होता है तो समझ जाओ वो ISIS, लश्कर या जैश में शामिल हो गया है।कोई CBI जांच की जरूरत नही।

The claim has been shared extensively on social media a while.
FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and we found that the claim attached with the picture is FAKE.
When we put the image through Reverse Image Search, we found that it is an old picture, we came across an article dated March 9th, 2015 which had the same picture.
We also found that the men in the picture are not the members of ISIS, but they are Iraqi soldiers and the picture was taken by Reuters on March 7th 2015 in Tikrit, Iraq.
“On the 7th, after taking down the town of Alain outside the town of Tikrit, Iraqi soldiers took a group photo in front of a wall painted with the ISIS flag,” the caption of the picture read.
While Najeeb Ahmad went missing since October 2016.
When we did FAKE vs REAL comparison it is very clear that Najeeb Ahmed is nowhere close to the man in the viral picture.
Hence, it is clear that the viral post about Najeeb Ahmed is FAKE.
