Watch: Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Seethakaathi’ trailer

The trailer for Balaji Tharaneetharan’s Tamil drama ‘Seethakaathi’starring Vijay Sethupathi, was released on Wednesday.

The actor plays an aged drama artiste and, for the first time, he even opted for prosthetic make-up to justify the old man look.

The trailer has veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja playing a cameo.

Vijay Sethupathi sports heavy prosthetic make-up to carry off his look as Ayya Aadhimoolam.

The trailer has aroused curiosity as it speaks about an old Ayya (Vijay Sethupathi), who enjoys a huge fan following but doesn’t turn up for shootings. Producers are forced complain about him to the Producers Council and drag him to court.

Also starring Bagavathi Perumal, Mouli, J Mahendran and Rajkumar, Seethakathi will be released on December 20.
