Robert De Niro and his wife, Grace Hightower, have split after over 20 years of marriage, according to multiple outlets.
According to a report by Page Six, the couple has confirmed that they are no longer together and are expected to announce the same in the coming week.

“They are not living together at this time,” a source close to the couple said.
“Sometimes things don’t work out the way you hope or want them to,” another insider told People magazine.
De Niro met Hightower in 1987 when she was working at famed eatery Mr. Chow in London.

After dating for almost 10 years, the “Wizard of Lies” star and Hightower tied the knot in 1997. They went on to welcome two children together — son Elliott, 20, and daughter Helen, 6.
The two were last spotted together on the red carpet of the 72nd Annual Tony Awards in New York City.
