PM Modi didn’t wear the skull cap; don’t believe the viral picture

Few days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi was felicitated by Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the spiritual head of the Dawoodi Bohra community in Indore, a picture is making rounds on Social Media in which PM Modi is seen wearing a skull cap.

Many Facebook pages with millions of followers and twitter handle shared the picture.

Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani also shared the picture

Mevani captioned the picture saying: जिन्हे था इंकार कभी टोपी से किसी दौर में। मस्जिद के अंदर नजर आये वो साहेब इंदौर में।”

Translation: Someone who had an issue with (skull)cap was seen inside a mosque in Indore.

The picture went viral on WhatsApp as well.

Prime Minister’s official Twitter handle tweeted the picture from the event and clearly it the viral picture is the photoshopped image.
