New Delhi: Days after Congress President Rahul Gandhi denied his party’s involvement in 1984 Sikh riots, Delhi BJP spokesperson Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga has placed hoardings across the national capital which read: “Rajiv Gandhi is Father of Mob Lynching”.
Bagga in fat shared it on his Twitter handle:

During his visit to Europe, Gandhi said that “Congress was not involved in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.”

The riots had left nearly 3,000 Sikhs killed, mostly in Delhi when the Congress was at the Centre.
“I have no confusion in my mind about that. It was a tragedy, it was a painful experience. You say that the Congress party was involved in that, I don’t agree with that. Certainly there was violence, certainly, there was a tragedy,” he had said.
