Google Doodle celebrates India’s Independence Day

The 72nd Independence Day is here and everybody is celebrating with joy and happiness and so is Google. The Google Doodle was put up on Tuesday midnight. The doodle features two peacocks in the middle and on the left side is an Asian Elephant, on the right side is a Bengal Tiger. In the middle we can also see our national flower, lotus.

Clicking on the doodle, it takes you to numerous entries of Independence Day, including video, news report and general information on the subject.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag at the Red Fort on Wednesday morning with a 21-gun salute and then delivered  a speech in which he said our society and country needs freedom from the disgusting mentality of rape and many more things for progressive India.
