Germany: An eight-year-old boy went for a joyride on his parents’ car on early Wednesday morning.
According to police, the car reached a top speed of 140 km/h and was travelling toward Dortmund before the boy started to feel unwell and pulled into a parking lot. The boy had put the hazard lights on and placed a warning triangle behind the parked vehicle.
No injuries or damage were reported. When the police reached the boy, he said: “I just wanted to drive a little.”

The child was found on the A44 heading in the direction of Dortmund having driven off in an automatic Volkswagen Golf from the family home in the western town of Soest, Germany’s DPA news agency reported.
