Ponty Chadha’s son arrested from Delhi airport

New Delhi: Liquor baron, Ponty Chadha’s son Manpreet Singh Chadha aka Monty Chadha was arrested from the Delhi airport last night in connection with a cheating case.

Reportedly, Monty Chadha is accused of cheating people by making fake promises of giving flats at cheap prices.

He was arrested by the officials of the Economic Offences Wing of Delhi Police while leaving for Phuket on Wednesday night.

He is the director of Uppal-Chadha Hi-tech Developers Private Limited.

Delhi Police had registered cases of cheating against Monty Chadha, several of his family members and employees in 2018.

Chadha will be produced before a local court on Thursday.

Ponty Chadha and his younger brother were allegedly involved in a property dispute and were killed in a shootout at a farmhouse in south Delhi on November 17, 2012.
