Boxer Amit Panghal nominated for Arjuna Award

Boxer Amit Panghal, Asian Games gold medalist will receive one of the most biggest sports award Arjuna Award.

The boxer hails from Haryana and he was nominated for the award by the Boxing Federation of India (BFI) after his amazing performance in the Asian games 2018 which were held in Jakarta.

Amit joined Sonia Lather and Gaurav Bidhuri in the list of boxing nominees for the second highest sporting honour after the Khel Ratna. Panghal became the eighth Indian boxer to claim an Asian Games gold medal.
