The menace of Fake News and misinformation is touching new heights, thanks to WhatsApp forwards. A video which is being shared extensively on WhatsApp is said to be from ‘an interior area of Mongolia’ where ‘the earth crust was moving’.

FACT CHECK
When we Fact checked the video, it was revealed that though the video is real, the claim attached to the video is completely baseless.
To verify the video when we used reverse image search, we learnt that the video was of melting of permafrost on the Tibetan plateau which took place in September 2017.
