Fact Check: The Viral Video Showing Robbery Is Not from Indore, But Rajasthan

A video is widely being shared on social media showing a few men hitting a woman and trying to enter her house. The video is shared with a claim that the incident took place in Indore, and warned people not to allow strangers at home.

NewsMobile did the fact check, and found it to be misleading.

To our surprise, the same video had been uploaded by NavBharat Times on September 14, 2022. According to the report, the incident took place in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where some robbers were trying to enter a house by masquerading as police.

News18 Rajasthan had also reported about the incident and stated that the incident was from Jaipur.

Earlier NewsMobile debunked the same video when it was shared as that from Tamil Nadu.
