A picture where a green flag can be seen along with a Congress party flag, is being shared on social media, with a claim that a “Pakistani” flag was waved at a Congress rally.
“₹80 का पेट्रोल छोड़िये मै 90 का पेट्रोल अपनी गाड़ी में खुशी-खुशी भरवा लूंगा पर कभी ऐसी पार्टी को वोट नहीं दूंगा जिसकी रैली में “हिंदुस्तान मुर्दाबाद के नारे लगते हो और “पाकिस्तानी झंडा” फैराया जाता हो।” the post read in Hindi.
(Translation: I will fill ₹90/L petrol in my car happily, but I will never vote for a party whose supporters shouts “Hindustan Murdabad” and hoist “Pakistani flag” in rallies. )

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found it to be false and misleading.
We got our first clue when we looked carefully at the flag on the car. We searched for the flag of Pakistan on Google and found the picture on Britannica that does not match with the flag on the car.
On digging further, we found another picture of the flag on Wikipedia. We found that the flag on the green car is that of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), an Indian political party.
With the help of a collage, we can clearly see that the flag on the car is of the IUML and not the Pakistani Flag.
We ran a search and found that IUML and Congress are a part of The United Democratic Front (an alliance of political parties in Kerala). This could possibly be the reason why the flags were seen together at the same rally.
However, we couldn’t independently identify the rally where this picture was clicked.
Previously, during the 2019 Lok Sabha Election, NewsMobile had debunked similar posts. The links can be seen here, here and here.
