Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mega ‘Howdy Modi’ event in Houston, a video is making rounds on social media in which few people can be seen dancing, wearing ‘NaMo Again’ T-shirts. It is being claimed that the video is of the preparation for PM Modi’s welcome.

The caption with the video read: “अमेरिका ,हॉस्टन में मोदी जी के स्वागत की तैयारियां चल रही है,50000 बुकिंग हो गयी है।

When NewsMobile fact checked the above post we found that the claim attached to the video is false.

On putting the keyframes of the video through Reverse Image Search, we came across the same video on YouTube dated April 15th, 2019.

The caption of the video read: ‘Now NRI’s 4 MODI American Indians Free campaign For Modi 2019 JOIN NAMO LAHAR (नमो लहर) JOIN TODAY’.

The video is from the time of 2019 Lok Sabha elections when NRIs in the United States showed their support to PM Modi and BJP.

Hence, the above information proves that the claim attached to the video is false.
