After resigning from ABP News, Punya Prasun Bajpai is not joining NDTV

The recent exit of senior journalists Punya Prasun Bajpai and Milind Khandekar from ABP News has shaken up the media industry. Following the resignation, social media is surfaced with claims that Punya Prasun Bajpai is joining NDTV from August 15.

Facebook pages like I Support Ravish Kumar has put a post claiming that Bajpai will be joining NDTV and do a show from 8 pm to 9 pm.

The page has 4.5 lakh followers and at the time of filing of this report, the post was shared by nearly 8,000 people at the time.

Micro-blogging site Twitter is also not left behind as the same claim went viral on Twitter as well.

FACT CHECK

The above claims are not true and senior journalist Punya Prasun Bajpai will not be joining NDTV as there has been no official confirmation from both Bajpai as well as NDTV.

Meanwhile, CEO of NDTV, Suparna Singh, was quoted in AltNews saying: “Our league of top anchors remains unchanged without any new additions.”
