Gucci Names Alia Bhatt Its Global Ambassador

Mumbai: Actor-producer Alia Bhatt, who made her Met Gala debut earlier this month, has been named the Global Brand Ambassador for the Italian fashion house Gucci. She will be the first Indian to be a global ambassador for the Italian fashion brand.

Gucci Tweed announced the news on its official Twitter account, saying, “As an example of a creative talent fostering empowerment and self-expression within the next generation, #AliaBhatt is recognized by the House as the latest Global Brand Ambassador. #GucciBamboo1947.”

Alia Bhat was captured with the Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag to announce the news. 

Alia Bhatt will debut as the Global Brand Ambassador of the House at the upcoming Cruise 2024 fashion show in Seoul, South Korea, which will be held at Gyeongbokgung Palace. 

Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to announce the news, saying, “I’m honored to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but on a global stage. Gucci’s legacy has always inspired and intrigued me, and I’m looking forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together.”
