IPL 2023: Clash Of Stars As RCB Take On MI In Second Match

Bengaluru: The frenzy of cricket is set to takeover as Royal Challengers Bangalore will clash with Mumbai Indians in an ultimate second match on Sunday at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The quest of RCB to win their maiden IPL title remains a major point as the side will take on Mumbai Indians in their opening match of the campaign.

With star players like Virat Kohli, Faf Du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, and Dinesh Karthik, the side will be looking to be consistent throughout the campaign as they move ahead in the points table.

RCB will play the opener without Wanindu Hasaranga, Rajat Patidar, and Josh Hazlewood. Hasaranga is out of the squad as he is currently playing the international T20 series against New Zealand, Patidar is recovering from a heel injury.

Mumbai Indians on the other hand will be looking to keep behind the horrors of the 2022 IPL edition. Skipper Rohit Sharma will play a key role in the opening order as the team will be looking to bounce back in the ultimate clash of stars.

Cameron Green and Jofra Archer remain the key overseas players in the squad that will add to the strength of the side.

Jhye Richardson and Jasprit Bumrah are out of the current edition of IPL. Sandeep Warrier joins as a replacement for Bumrah.
