Centre Cancels Licenses of 18 Pharma Companies Over Manufacturing Of Spurious Medicines

New Delhi: In a major crackdown, the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) has reportedly cancelled the licence of 18 pharma companies operating in the country.

According to ANI sources, the government of India has cancelled licences of 18 pharma companies for manufacturing spurious medicines.

The inspection was carried out by the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) on a total of 76 companies across 20 States.

The report further added that the centre is carrying out a number of inspections on pharma companies across the country related to the manufacturing of spurious medicines.
