A viral video showing a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) manhandling a passenger in a train for not having a ticket with him is doing the rounds on social media. Many users have shared the video claiming that the TTE is harassing a Bihari migrant worker coming from Tamil Nadu.
A Facebook user posted the viral post with a caption: तमिलनाडु से भाग कर आ रहे बिहारियों को कुछ इस प्रकार से टीटी टिकट दे रहे हैं। क्या टीटी का ऐसा बर्ताव सही है? (English translation: This is how they are giving tickets to Biharis who are running away from Tamil Nadu. Is this behaviour of TTE correct?)

Running a Reverse Image Search of the viral clip, we traced many social media posts with the same claim on Twitter as well. Under one such post, we came across a comment by an unverified profile stating that the video was recorded by a YouTuber and is being shared here to mislead people. The train in the video is Sampoorna Kranti Express that runs from Delhi to Patna and the man was travelling without a ticket.
With a Google Keyword Search, we spotted a YouTube video titled: यह हाल है संपूर्ण क्रांति एक्सप्रेस की 😡😡 | Sampoorna Kranti Express Train Journey, published by a verified channel — Run on Track. Here the keyframes from 14:49 match exactly with the viral clip confirming that the clip is, indeed, from Sampoorn Kranti Express.
According to another comment on the same tweet by the official profile of Danapur railway division (DRM/DNR), the TTE in the viral video has been suspended for harassing the passenger inside the Sampoorna Kranti Express.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral video claiming that a railway TTE manhandled a Bihari migrant worker from Tamil Nadu is false.
