Mumbai: The comeback of Bollywood’s megastar Shah Rukh Khan with his new release ‘Pathaan’ has taken over the box office across the country.

According to Trade Analysts quoted by ANI, Srk’s Pathaan minted ₹55 crore on its first day of release. The film scripted a mega revival of Bollywood in terms of business as the film has managed to beat the opening day collection of ‘War’ (Rs 51 crore) and ‘KGF: 2’ (Rs 53 crore).
The frenzy of Pathaan continues to fill theatres across the country as the film entered the 100 crore club on its first day at the global box office. The film is helmed by Siddharth Anand, in several regional languages. The film is produced under the banner of Yashraj films.
The makers of the film are creating an Indian spy universe with films like Tiger Zinda Hai and War.
