Pujara played a balanced and exceptional knock of 90 runs and was dismissed by Taijul Islam. Rishabh Pant took chances while facing Taijul Islam as he played a quick and short inning of 46 runs after being dismissed by Mehidy Hasan.
With the turning track of Chattogram pitch, the conditions are likely to ease out eventually over the upcoming days. India will gear up to face a fierce and dominant bowling attack on Day two of the first test.
