Istanbul: One suspect in the deadly blast in Istanbul has been arrested which claimed six lives and left 53 injured.
An explosion rocked the busy Istiklal pedestrian street of Central Istanbul in Turkey on Sunday.

Calling the blast a suspected act of terrorism, Turkish President Erdogan said in a press conference that efforts to take over Turkey and the Turkish nation through terrorism would not succeed, the Anadolu agency reported.
The blast occurred at a time when Erdogan was scheduled to embark for the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia.
According to a report by Reuters, ambulances, and police officials were seen heading towards the scene of the explosion in Istiklal Street in the Beyoglu district.
Another report by local media said that the explosion occurred around 4:20 pm (1300 GMT) in the area.
Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya took to Twitter and added “Four people were killed and 38 others were wounded according to the initial reports.”
Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi took to Twitter and added “India conveys its deepest condolences to the Government and people of Turkey on the tragic loss of lives in the blast that took place in Istanbul today. Our sympathies are also with those who sustained injuries. We wish them a speedy recovery,”.
