Mumbai: Amid the series of trolling on the quality of the ‘Adipurush’ teaser, the makers of the film have decided to postpone the release dates of the film to work on the project.
Adipurush starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon is a film based on the epic Ramayana. Director Om Raut took to Twitter and added that “In order to give complete visual experience to the audience, we need to give more time to the teams working on the film.”
The new release date of the film is June 16, 2023. He also shared a picture, which read, “Adipurush is not a film, but a representation of our devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram and commitment towards our sanskriti and history.
The teaser of the movie was trolled on a number of issues ranging from poor VFX and graphic quality, while some pointed out the unrealistic representations of the characters.
The film was earlier slated to hit the theatres on January 12, 2023.
