London: UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly will travel to India for the first official visit on 28th October.
According to reports, he will arrive in Mumbai on Friday and travel to New Delhi on Saturday. He is scheduled to meet External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar during the visit.
The report further added that they are likely to discuss strengthening diplomatic ties between the countries.
Earlier on Tuesday, EAM S Jaishankar received a call from UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly wherein both leaders discussed bilateral relations and the Ukraine conflict.
The talks come against the backdrop of the United Nations Security Council which is set to hold a discussion over Ukraine’s ‘dirty bomb’ threat.
