PM Modi All Set To Take Part In Deepotsav Celebration In Ayodhya

Ayodhya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit the holy city of Ayodhya on the eve of Diwali for the Deepotsav celebrations on Sunday.

The state is celebrating the sixth edition of Deepotsav and PM Modi will participate in the celebrations for the first time.

During the celebration, PM Modi will perform the darshan and pooja of Bhagwan Shri Ramlala Virajman.

The Prime Minister will also inspect the construction work of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra site during the visit.

A statement issued by the PMO added that “At around 5:45 pm, he will perform the Rajyabhishek of symbolic Bhagwan Shri Ram. Around 6:30 PM, Prime Minister will witness Aarti at New Ghat, Saryu river, which will be followed by the commencement of the grand Deepotsav celebrations by the Prime Minister,”.

Before the arrival of the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister will observe the Shobha Yatra at Ram Katha Park.

With the PM’s visit to the city, security arrangements have been beefed up with the heavy deployment of police personnel around the site.

The Yogi Adityanath government through the organization of ‘Deepotsava’ will promote not only the state’s spiritual and religious significance but also the ‘Dhobia’, and ‘Faruwahi’ dance artists.

The banks of river Sarayu await to be lit up with lakhs of ‘Diyas’ (earthen lamps) on the occasion of ‘Deepotsav’.

More than 15 lakh diyas will be lit on the occasion. Five animated tableaus and eleven Ramleela tableaus with different dance forms from other states will also be put up during Deepotsav.
