New Delhi: A building collapsed in Delhi’s Lahori Gate area on Sunday evening.
The collapse injuring at least 10 people and one died, according to Delhi Police.
The injured have been shifted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital in the national capital, while the deceased was brought dead and has been identified as four-year-old female, a resident of Valmiki GB Road.
Director of the Delhi Fire Services Atul Garg reportedly said a call was received about the incident around 7.30pm.
Five fire tenders were rushed to the site after a distress call was received.
“It was a two-storey building and was in a dilapidated condition. Many people got injured. 10 people have been admitted to LNJP hospital. A 4-year-old girl has died. Rescue operation is underway. 5 teams of NDRF are present at the spot” qouted Shweta Chauhan, DCP, Central dist, Delhi.

Several are feared to be trapped in the debris, according to the Police.
