A picture of actor Ranveer Singh has surfaced on the internet in which he can be seen posing naked on the pile of ₹500 and ₹2000 currency notes.

On putting the above picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture of the cash pile in several news reports. According to the reports, the cash was recovered from West Bengal after ED raided Arpita Mukherjee who is known to be a close aide of former state Education Minister and Trinamool Congress Secretary General Partha Chatterjee.

Meanwhile, as far as Ranveer Singh’s picture is concerned, it is cropped from his latest photoshoot for PAPER magazine. He in fact shared the pictures on his official Instagram account on July 22, 2022.

Hence, the above findings establish that the picture in question is FAKE and manipulated with picture editing software.
