India Aim To Cease ODI Series At The Lord’s

Date:

London: With the lead in the ODI series, India will clash with England in the second game on Thursday at the ‘Home of Cricket’ Lord’s.

India will take the field after a dominating 10-wicket win against England in the last game. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohd Shami walked all over the English batting lineup, bundling up the innings with just 110 runs on board.

Reportedly, Virat Kohli will second game after suffering from a groin strain injury in the third T20 game against England. Meanwhile, KL Rahul will be the vice-captain in the second ODI.

In the first ODI at Oval, the dependable opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan took charge of the innings and chased the low score target comfortably. Bumrah was named ‘Player of The Match’ for taking 6 wickets.

Skipper Jos Butler will look forward to getting the team back on track at the Lord’s.
