Fact Check: Tweet Falsely Attributed to Bond Actor Daniel Craig

A screenshot of a tweet has surfaced on the internet, attributing to James Bond actor Daniel Craig.

The tweet reads: “If your kid is bullying my kid and my kid has tried to tell your kid to stop, and your kid doesn’t.. my kid has been instructed to punch your kid in the face.”

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the above post, it was found to be FAKE.

We noticed the Twitter handle mentioned the screenshot. Upon looking up @danielcraig on Twitter, we discovered that the Twitter handle was suspended.

It was also found that Daniel Craig was not on any social media platforms, including Twitter.

Moreover, we did a search on Google with relevant keywords, but could not find any report or media suggesting that Craig made the above statement.

Hence, it is confirmed that the statement in question is falsely attributed to Daniel Craig.
