Sigh Of Relief As Rain Lashes Several Parts Of Delhi

New Delhi: Monsoon rings the bell as rain lashes several parts of Delhi on Tuesday, bringing much-needed relief from the hot and humid weather prevailing in the past few days.

The national capital witnessed traffic and waterlogging in some parts due to early morning showers. Places like Sarita Vihar witnessed waterlogging and traffic jams during the early office hours of the day.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted rainfall with thunderstorms and lighting for Tuesday in some places of Delhi. According to the prediction, rainfall can pour between 64.5 to 115.5mm in the upcoming two days.

Monsoon is prevailing in Maharashtra as well for the past few days with incidents of heavy rainfall and landslides in some areas. An Orange alert has been issued in Mumbai till 14th July due to instances of heavy rainfall in the upcoming days.
