Flying Beast Gaurav Taneja Issues Statement On His Birthday Arrest

New Delhi: Following the arrest over ruckus at Noida station, YouTuber Gaurav Taneja aka Flying Beast, released a statement on Sunday

He was arrested by Noida Police for violating Section 144 of CrPc at Sector 51 Noida metro station on his birthday.

According to the Police, Gaurav and his fans violated the rule which led to massive traffic jams and overcrowding on the Aqua Line of Noida Metro.

Gaurav Taneja explained his side of the story stating that his wife wanted to give him a surprise on his 36th birthday by hosting a party in four Coach Metro from Sector 51 Metro Station, Noida. They already knew that there was Section 144 of CrPc was in force at Noida.

Gaurav also shared the permission letter issued by NRMC that they did have claiming they got all the permissions through proper way.

The statement further mentioned, “the fact that our fans look up to us and would congregate in large numbers to celebrate Gaurav’s birthday would suggest that they feel that we are part of their family. And, they are overwhelmed by the love and affection.”

Gaurav said Police Official told him how he and his fans committed a criminal offence as not more than five people were allowed to gather and people travelling at that time were unable to move other than his fans. Ranvijay Singh, additional DCP, GB Nagar, was the incharge.

At last, he said “Needless to say, we would be pursuing an appropriate legal remedy.”
