India Hands Over 3-Year Old Pakistani Child Who Strayed Into Indian Territory

New Delhi: In a goodwill gesture, the Border Security Force (BSF) returned a three-year-old Pakistani boy who unintentionally entered the Indian territory on July 1, 2022.

The incident took place in Ferozepur Sector around 7 pm when BSF find a child crying out loud.

Firstly, the child was kept under the safety custody of BSF. As they knew the case was of inadvertent entering to the territory.

The BSF handed over the child a few hours later to Pakistani Rangers as a goodwill gesture and humanitarian nature among soldiers.

Following this, many Twitter reactions poured in where people are praising BSF India for its help commenting, “Great gesture” while another saying, “Jai Hind Ki Sena” and many more.

According to laws for straying citizens, he/she can be put in custody based on suspicion and asked for valid documents. If he/she is unable to provide valid documents it might be able to end up imprisonment for years.
