Rebel Shiv Sena MLA Wants Uddhav Thackeray To Consider BJP-Shiv Sena Alliance

Date:

Mumbai: Rebel Shiv Sena MLA Deepak Kesarkar in a statement asked Uddhav Thackeray to consider a new alliance with Shiv Sena, calling the move “not a rebellion, but a fight for Shiv Sena’s self-respect”.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • In the statement he said that “BJP-Shiv Sena alliance has been a decade-old alliance, we fought the 2014 elections together.”
  • He says that the ‘age-old’ alliance broke because of disagreement in seat distribution during the Assembly elections.
  • He says Shiv Sena and BJP once again came together and some of our party members became Union Ministers but Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut “started his vicious agenda of criticizing BJP.
  • The rebel legislators during this period of time tried to bring this matter to the notice of leadership but their efforts went in vain.
  • The letter further accuses Sanjay Raut of using abusive, cheap, and harsh language on a regular basis against the members trying to voice their opinion.
  • Under the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance, both the parties were growing because of ideologically similar agendas i.e. Hindutva.
  • The letter further adds that a systematic effort was made to demolish age-old work together and Shiv Sena’s foundation was shaken.
  • The MLA accuses Sanjay Raut of “setting off to finish our party” and calls him “NCPs blue-eyed boy”.
  • It adds that our fight is for the Shiv Sena and Balasaheb’s ideologies and urges Uddhav Thackery to consider the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance (Yuti).
