A Facebook user shared the image with a caption in Hindi that translates to, “Nupur Sharma suspended from BJP in the shelter of Mahakal.”

On performing Reverse Image Search, we found the same image posted by Nupur Sharma in one tweet along with three other images on April 29, 2022.
The row over BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s controversial comments on Prophet Muhammad began on May 27, 2022, during a TV news debate. Following the outrage, Sharma was suspended from the party on June 5, 2022.
Therefore, with the above information, we can conclude that the viral image is being shared with a misleading claim.
