A video of a man swimming on a waterlogged road is being circulated on social media with a claim that it was shot recently in Kerala.
The video was shared with the Malayalam caption: “ടൂറിസവും ഗതാഗതവും ഒരു കുടക്കീഴിൽ നമ്പർവൺ കേരളത്തിൽ” (English translation: Tourism and transportation under one umbrella is number one in Kerala)

We extracted the keyframes of the video and put them through Reverse Image Search along with some keywords. We found that the same video was shared on YouTube in August 2014 with the title: “funny man swimming on the road, Kerala.”
We also found multiple reports from 2014, mentioning that a tourist jumped in to take a swim in the waterlogged street in Kerala. A report by Scroll identified the man as Noam Offray.
The same was reported by India Today and Malayalam Oneindia.
Hence, from the above fact check, it is clear that the video is an old one.
