Washington: The trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard comes to an end with the jury unanimously making the verdict in favour of Johnny Depp.
Jack Sparrow fame Johnny Depp accused his ex-wife Amber Heard of defaming him through an op-ed piece she wrote in 2018, accusing Jack of domestic violence. The piece led to Jack Sparrow losing professional contracts.
The Jury ordered that the piece was directed toward Jack and ordered Amber to pay him $15 million ($10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages).
The verdict has sparked a fire of opinions on the internet regarding the case.
