Double Header Day: LSG And RR To Clash For Playoffs In The Second Game

Date:

Mumbai: Action-packed Sunday began with an ultimate clash between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans at the Wankhede Stadium. Rajasthan Royals will take on Lucknow Super Giants in the ongoing IPL at the Brabourne Stadium on Sunday.

After keeping a good track throughout the season, Lucknow Super Giants lost the last match against Gujarat Titans.

Skipper KL Rahul failed to make an impact in the last game and was dismissed. The LSG batting order had no answers to the bowling attack of GT, especially Rashid Khan who walked over the batting lineup and bagged four crucial wickets.

Rajasthan Royals currently placed at the third position will be eyeing to win the game and move up to the second position. However, Sanju Samson and his side are back after a defeat against Delhi Capitals in the last game.

Ravichandran Ashwin scored his first half-century of the season and anchored the batting lineup for his side. Devdutt Padikal too joined hands and contributed 48 runs on the board. Purple cap holder Yuzvendra Chahal failed to get early wickets in the last game and the team lost the match. Trent Boult conceded 32 runs in his spell and bagged one wicket.
