IPL 2022: Sunrisers Hyderabad To Take On Kolkata Knight Riders

Date:

Pune: Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the ongoing Indian Premier League at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Saturday.

The road ahead to playoffs for both SRH and KKR is tough as both teams will play the most vital games in the days to come before the playoffs.

Skipper Kane Williamson and his side need to win the remaining game and also maintain a good net run rate throughout the games left to qualify for the playoffs. SRH is back after a crushing defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Rahul Tripathi is back in form and will be looking to anchor the innings in the middle order. Speedster Umran Malik and Kartik Tyagi failed to knock wickets in the last game against RCB.

Kolkata Knight Riders will be back after a crucial win against Mumbai Indians. Ajinkya Rahane was added back into the squad but he failed to capitalize on the opportunity and was dismissed by Kumar Kartikeya. Venkatesh Iyer played a crucial and balanced knock of 43 runs in just 21 deliveries.

The bowling attack of KKR was the game-changer in the last game. Pat Cummins bagged three wickets in his spell against MI. Andre Russell joined him and got two wickets.

Both the teams will be eyeing to win the match and settle the game with a good net run rate for increasing their chances to qualify in the next stage of the game.
