IPL 2022: Mumbai Indians To Clash With Kolkata Knight Riders

Mumbai: Kolkata Knight Riders to clash with Mumbai Indians in the ongoing Indian Premier League at the DY Patil Stadium on Monday.

Kolkata Knight Riders will be back after a crushing defeat against Lucknow Super Giants by 75 runs. Skipper Shreyas Iyer will be looking to get some runs in the final phase of the league games.

The batting order of Kolkata Knight Riders is yet to settle. Nitish Rana, Aaron Finch, and Shreyas Iyer failed to set the tone of the innings. However, Andre Russell is in form and played a powerful inning in the last game.

Tim Southee and Sunil Narine will be looking to lead the bowling attack in this game and knock off some early wickets.

Mumbai Indians are going through one of their worst seasons of IPL. However, Rohit Sharma and his side have managed to turn things in their favor after securing two consecutive wins. Mumbai Indians defeated the table-toppers Gujarat Titans in the last game by 5 runs.

Skipper Rohit Sharma finally secured some runs in the last game. Ishan Kishan scored a crucial 45 runs in 29 deliveries in the last game. Tim David played a cameo role and scored 44 runs in 21 deliveries.

The bowling attack of Mumbai Indians needs to get back on track. Star bowler Jasprit Bumrah is struggling with his form in this season of IPL. However, both the teams will be looking to win the game and secure some points ahead of the playoffs.
