Weather Watch: Temperature Likely To Fall In Delhi From May 2

Date:

New Delhi: As the national capital faces the scratching heat, the Indian Meteorological Department on Friday predicted a sigh of relief as the temperature is likely to drop from Monday.

Delhi, Punjab, and parts of Western Rajasthan have been experiencing severe hot weather in the past few weeks. According to the report, from May 2 the advancing Western disturbance can bring in a likely thunderstorm and rain.

RK Jenamani, Senior Scientist at IMD said that “The temperature from May 2 to May 4 will be between 36 degrees to 39 degrees Celsius.”

According to the weather department, cyclonic circulation over the South Andaman Sea is expected on May 4. This will create a low-pressure area and lead to a fall in the temperature.
