IPL 2022: Finch Likely To Replace Rahane As KKR Clash With Sunrisers Hyderabad

Date:

Mumbai: Kolkata Knight Riders will clash with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing Indian Premier League at the Brabourne Stadium on Friday.

Kolkata Knight Riders couldn’t secure their position at the top of the table as they lost their last encounter against Delhi Capitals, who won the match by 44 runs.

Skipper Shreyas Iyer however, claimed his return in the game after scoring a crucial half-century in the last game. Knight’s Star batsman Andre Russel failed to hit big runs as he was sent back by Shradul Thakur in the last game. In-form bowler Umesh Yadav failed to make an impact on the game as the opening pair of Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan mounted runs against him.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is back in the game after winning the last two games against Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings.

Skipper Kane Williamson played a captain’s knock of 57 runs in 47 deliveries. Abhishek Sharma, the young batting sensation continues his form after scoring 42 runs in the last game.

Kolkata Knight Riders are likely to replace Ajinkya Rahane as he fails to perform at the top of the order in this year’s IPL. Aaron Finch might take his place and open the innings with Venkatesh Iyer.

Washington Sundar is likely to miss the game as he was injured in the last game. Abdul Samad might return in place of Sundar in today’s encounter against KKR.
