We extracted keyframes of the video using the InVid tool and put them through Reverse Image Search. Subsequently, we found a link to the same Facebook video, uploaded on March 28, 2020. As per the video caption, the incident took place in Mansehra in Pakistan.
We found the official Twitter account of Mansehra Police and found a tweet dated March 30, 2020. Replying to the same video, Manshara Police said, “This incident has already been brought to the notice of DIG Hazara and DPO Manshara and police stations have been directed to refrain from giving such punishments from now on.
