‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’: PM Modi Advises Students To Stay Away From Stress

Date:

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in the 5th edition “Pariksha Pe Charcha” event on Friday where he interacted with students on issues like the stress of examination, parents and peer pressure, and many more. The event was held at the Talkatora Stadium.

While talking about the stress of examinations, the PM said, “You are not giving exams for the first time. In a way you are exam-proof. Thus, don’t be stressed. Remember that you have overcome such exams in the past.”

The Prime Minister in his interaction with the students and their parents also touched upon the topic of peer pressure and the burden of expectations that parents and teachers have on their children.

He said that parents should be careful while they unleash their expectations on young minds. He also advised students to find where their interest lies and to follow that irrespective of difficulties and obstacles.

Prime Minister Modi also urged students to stay away from the environment of panic and advised them to appear for their exams full of self-confidence.

He said, “No need to copy friends, just keep doing whatever you do with full confidence and I believe that all of you can give your exams in a festive mode, without any stress.”

The Prime Minister also talked about the widespread use of online teaching methods across the country and how it is distracting for a lot of students. He said that “Students should introspect while studying online, whether they are studying or spend time watching reels on social media.”

He further added that “Whatever happens offline, same happens online. That means the medium is not the problem. Irrespective of the medium, if our mind is devolved into the subject then it won’t make a difference in grasping things.”
