On putting the keyframes of the video through Reverse Image Search, we found a news report on YouTube by TV9 dated October 21, 2020. The report mentions that the incident took place in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The title of the video read, “Drunk police constable manhandled for misbehaving with people in Chandlodiya| Ahmedabad”
According to the report, five people were passing by, along the road in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, when a drunk policeman started arguing with them. The group then thrashed the policeman for misbehaving.
We also found a video by Zee 24 Kalak published on October 21, 2020, which stated that a police constable was publicly beaten in Ahmedabad.
In connection with this, even Cyberabad Police took to Twitter to inform people that the said incident did not take place anywhere in Cyberabad. The tweet, posted on May 29, 2021, stated that the claim is fake.
