The headline of the article in Hindi read: “सांसदो का भत्ता बढ़ाने को मंज़ूरी” (Translation: Approval to increase allowance of MPs)
A user shared the post with a caption, “देख लो भाई लोग कर्मचारी के वेतन की काटोती और अपने वेतन की बढ़ोतरी” (Translation- Look, they are cutting the salary of the employee but increase their own salary)

This proves that the clipping is old.
Further, we found a press release by government’s nodal information agency – the Press Information Bureau – dated February 28, 2018. The press release stated that the allowance for MPs has been increased.
We also found various media reports from 2018 that reported that the Cabinet approved a hike in monthly allowances of MPs.

Further, we searched for any recent announcement made by the government on hike of allowances for MPs but did not find any media report. In fact, we found a report by The Economic Times dated April 7, 2020, stating that there has been a cut in the monthly allowance of MPs.
In conclusion, upon analysing our findings, it is safe to say that no hike has been announced in MPs allowance and the post in circulation is old.
