CBSE Releases Board Exams Datesheet For Class X & XII, Here’s All You Need To Know

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the datesheet of classes 10 and 12 examinations on Tuesday. The exams are scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 10.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank released the datasheet through a video message and wished students for the exams. The datesheet is available now at cbse.nic.in.


The exam will be held in the offline written mode. CBSE board exams will have 33 per cent internal choice questions. The syllabus of the exam has also been reduced by 30 per cent. The schools will conduct the practical exams from March 1.

The board examinations, which are scheduled to begin from 4 May, will end on 7 June for class 10 students and 11 June for class 12 students. The results of the board exams will be announced by July 15.

This is the first time the board exams were delayed for May- June, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Otherwise, the exams are usually held in the month of Feb – March.
