COVID-19 | Top 10 Developments In India This Wednesday Morning

India’s coronavirus tally has crossed the 1.06-crore mark, while over 1.53 lakh people have succumbed to the viral disease until now.

Here are the top 10 developments this morning:

  1. Maharashtra reported 2,405 new coronavirus cases, 2,106 discharges, and 47 deaths.
  2. Karnataka reported 529 new coronavirus cases, 738 discharges, and 4 deaths in the last 24 hours.
  3. Tamil Nadu reported 523 new coronavirus cases, 595 discharges, and 5 deaths in the last 24 hours.
  4. 6,293 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kerala.
  5. Delhi reported 157 new coronavirus cases, 218 recoveries and 7 deaths in the last 24 hours.
  6. 20.39 lakh healthcare workers vaccinated across the country, including 5,615 beneficiaries vaccinated till 7 PM. Six cases of Adverse Effect After Vaccination (AEFI) have been reported, the Union Health Ministry said.
  7. Andhra Pradesh reported 172 new cases of COVID-19, 203 recoveries and one death in the last 24 hours.
  8. Manipur reported 6 new COVID-19 cases and 21 recoveries today.
  9. India’s coronavirus tally has crossed the 1.06-crore mark.
  10. Over 1.53 lakh people have died due to COVID-19 until now.
