Joe Biden Reverses Trump’s Muslim Ban On Day 1

Date:

US President-elect Joe Biden reversed the controversial travel ban on several predominantly Muslim countries, setting new paths on immigration on Day 1 of assuming office.

The bar was imposed by former President Donald Trump when he first entered office. Moreover, Biden also signed 17 orders and actions regarding the environment, fighting COVID-19 and the economy.

Biden has also ordered that the construction of a border wall near Mexico be halted, a move that was welcomed by the neighbouring country. The wall was one of Trump’s pet projects during his 2016 presidential campaign.
