While appreciating late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s work in the film “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story,” the Bombay High Court on Thursday said that the actor appeared to be a good human being by his face.
A bench of Justices S S Shinde and M S Karnik made these remarks while reserving its verdict on a petition filed by Sushant’s sisters, Priyanka and Meetu Singh. The sisters had filed a petition seeking the quashing of an FIR filed against them, which accuses them of forgery and fabrication of a medical prescription for Sushant.
“Whatever the case…from Sushant Singh Rajput’s face one could make out that he was innocent and sober…and a good human being,” Justice Shinde said.
“Everybody liked him especially in that M S Dhoni film,” he added.

A case was registered against Rajput’s sisters Priyanka and Meetu in September last year for allegedly getting medicines for Sushant without a physical consultation. A doctor from Delhi, Dr Tarun Kumar, was also named in the case.
The Supreme Court had, on August 19, directed the CBI to probe the case related to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput putting a stop to the political slugfest between the governments of Maharashtra and Bihar over the case.
Bihar Police had registered a case in the matter on the complaint of Rajput’s father and initiated an investigation, which was later referred to the CBI by the Bihar government, a proposal accepted by the Central government.
Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14, 2020.
