Earlier, the government had said that domestic flights except those carrying cargo would continue to be suspended during the fourth phase of Lockdown.

The government and airline companies are working to ensure that physical distancing norms are being practiced seriously. As per information available, middle seats may be left vacant and various other procedures may change.

Airlines based out of India have recently submitted their ‘fitness certificates’ to the DGCA and have been ready to ferry domestic passengers.

They have also been subjected to heavy financial losses.
